- The name of the Pantelleria grape, probably originating from Alessandria, is Zibibbo. An exquisitely sweet, golden-coloured grape, grown on small trees, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, in a hollow carved into the ground to protect it from the wind, rich in sugars thanks to the warm volcanic soil, and able to feed on the dew that collects there. This is how heroic agriculture and the royalty of a product unique in its taste come together. This grape is then used to produce the famous Passito di Pantelleria, so appreciated and known throughout the world.
